Ingrid Jacoby, is internationally acclaimed as both a recording and performing artist.  She has been awarded a Career Life Award by the National Society of Arts and Letters in the United States, and is a “Steinway Artist”, member of the Steinway Hall of Fame.  She has performed in venues across the globe.  Her recordings are available online and several of her CDs made the critics’ “best of” lists in the classical music press.  Ms. Jacoby lives in England and has played piano for the world’s best conductors, including Yehudi Menuhin.   She has played with The London Symphony, The St. Louis Philharmonic, The San Diego Chamber Orchestra, and in New York at Carnegie Hall.

Helen Jacoby, her sister, is a member of the North Shore Lions Club as well as the First Church in Salem and has helped arrange this wonderful event.  “It’s a special trip Ingrid Jacoby is making to do this benefit concert.”
