Salem State Theatre, in conjunction with the Center for Creative and Performing Arts, presents the Fifth Annual Veterans 10-Minute Play Festival, featuring the work of writers from across the United States. The goal of this festival is to cultivate a supportive environment for creative exploration in and around the varied experiences that surround the military. This festival uses theatre to begin a community conversation that builds bridges between the civilian and military worlds.
The plays selected for this year’s festival are:
An Afternoon’s Enjoyment by Cherielyn Ferguson
Come Dawn by Ron Capps
Disgruntled by Frank Laske
LISTEN by Sherry Bokser
Potshots by Stephanie Kline
V.F.W. Post 1209 by Brendan O’Neill
All six plays will be presented each night of the festival and each performance will be followed by a brief talk-back with the audience.
Admission is free but seating is limited. Advance reservations are recommended at https://salemstatetickets.
