My goal is to see things through the camera that might be otherwise missed, to see the familiar in new ways. I try to apply this perspective to a variety of genres of photography, including architecture, scenic, and people. I am especially enamored of black and white photography, as it allows the essential aspect of a scene to emerge – line, light and shadow, composition, and, most importantly, emotion and feeling.
