Love and Liaisons in Expatriate Montparnasse
February 14 @ 7:00 pm$15
Jim’s colorful Valentine’s Day offering recalls the romantic escapades – both serious and frivolous – of Ernest Hemingway, Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani, photographer Man Ray (lover of Kiki, the outrageous “Queen of Montparnasse”), and other foreign artists and writers living in Paris in the early 20th century.
The lecture begins at 7 pm in the downstairs library at the Hawthorne Hotel.
Admission is $15. Reservations are suggested to guarantee seating and can be made by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or by text 978.979.5907.
Program attendees are eligible for a 20% discount on appetizers, meals, and desserts (beverages excluded) in the Hawthorne Hotel’s Nathaniel’s Restaurant which now features the same “European-flair” menu as the Hawthorne’s Tavern on the Green.
