In this one day taxidermy class, you’ll be learning how to skin, prep, and mount a life-size mouse. We’ll be going over all of the details so that you learn the skills you need to start basic taxidermy. This is a great gateway into the world of this unique art form!

Where: Hive and Forge – 30 Church Street, Salem, MA

When: Sunday January 17th, 2021 Class runs 12pm-5pm

Who: Working alongside licensed taxidermist Nicole Baldelli. She is the owner of the businesses Nikki Deerest Novelty Taxidermy and Lone Fox Taxidermy. She has over 6 years of taxidermy experience and a wide range of background with art and animals.

Details: This class is 18+ as we will be working with sharp objects.

Parking: There is a lot next to Hive and Forge where you can park. Salem also has multiple parking garages and lots in the area.

What’s included: All basic supplies needed to complete your taxidermy piece. I will be providing some basic props however I do encourage each student to bring their own props. You can find a whole world of miniature items at stores like Hobby Lobby, or even create a shadowbox display to bring for your completed mouse! See the pictures below for some ideas! We will also provide some light refreshments.

Masks are required while in the workshop & establishment. Class sizes are minimal (limit of 5 students) and we are able to social distance.

***No animals used for my classes are harmed for the purpose of taxidermy. I work with breeders, friends, and fellow good Samaritans to source animals that have either died naturally or are a result of the farming/meat industry. All remains are used and nothing goes to waste

Please email LoneFoxTaxidermy@gmail.com if you have any questions!

Tickets ($150) available for January 17 and January 31.
