Stephen Daniels, one of Salem’s earliest citizens, lived in the center of what was then a rustic fishing and shipping settlement; the ‘wild west’ of the English world.

Tour his house and neighborhood, among Salem’s oldest.

Led by an architectural historian, you’ll start inside a c1667 house before a meandering 1-mile neighborhood loop. This walking tour will highlight the ancient features of the earliest Salem settlement and landscape still visible.

Note: due to current COVID guidelines, all guests are required to show proof of vaccination prior to the start of the tour and wear masks while inside the Daniels House.
