The Silsbee family, the second owners of the Daniels House in the late 18th/early 19th century, were one of Salem’s prominent families at the height of the city’s world influence!
Back in their day Salem was a booming shipping and trading town. On this tour of maritime-era Salem, led by an architectural historian, we’ll start inside their c1756 Parlor before a 1-mile neighborhood loop. We’ll trace the life of one of Salem’s prominent families and their influence on its international fame.
Note: due to current City of Salem COVID guidelines, all guests are required to show proof of vaccination prior to the start of the tour and wear masks while inside the Daniels House.
