The History of Oz

October 2 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

$10

Calling all Wizard of Oz fans!

Join the Salem Witch Museum for a celebration of the 80th anniversary of the classic film “The Wizard of Oz.” Considered by many to be America’s first fairy tale, “The Wizard of Oz” dramatically impacted the pop-culture image of a witch, leaving a lasting impression to this day. Join us for a brief lecture discussing how L. Frank Baum’s classic children’s story was reinterpreted and re-imagined into this major motion picture and how this has impacted witch history, followed by a screening of the film in our auditorium.

Tickets will be sold at the door at $10 per person, however we will be offering free admission to anyone dressed in a Wizard of Oz costume!
