Salem Athenaeum Tour
Visitors will receive a guided tour of the Salem Athenaeum building along with a brief history of the institution (established 1760). Select books from the library’s Historical Collection will be on display. Special Instructions: The building is not handicapped accessible. The tour involves stairs. Tours will start on the hour. Fish Seining Demonstration on the Beach
See and learn about the fishes living in Salem Harbor. At this seining demonstration, Salem Sound Coastwatch staff will drag a large seining net through the water onto the beach.
