For most of the year, Witch City Walking Tours recommends arriving in Salem 30 minutes prior to your tour, but in October guests should plan to arrive two hours in advance if they are driving, and an hour if you are using the MBTA public transportation system which is advised. The wonderful aspect about Witch City Walking Tours is how eclectic both their content and tour guides are. They truly are a company dedicated to the local community and the magnification of Salem’s rich history. Each month the company chooses a local Salem non-profit and donates a portion of their sales to them to empower other local business owners and grass-root organizations. Not only do they spread the love through their local philanthropic efforts, but they also keep their tour content fresh with new pop-up tours and collaborations happening seasonally. One of their newest installments, the PopSalem! A Pop Culture Walking Tour installment which runs through the month of November is a great example of this.
