On March 10, Governor Charlie Baker declared a state of emergency in Massachusetts and on March 15 the Governor issued an emergency order limiting gatherings to 25 individuals and prohibiting on-premises consumption of food or drink at bars and restaurants, effective until April 6. Please visit salem.org/blog to find detailed information about Salem’s preparedness for COVID-19, business closures, ways to shop online and in person, and restaurants offering take-out or delivery options.
