The Salem Chamber and Salem Main Streets are once again supporting Small Business Saturday in Salem, on November 25th. Small Business Saturday is part of the “Shop Small” movement initiated by American Express to encourage holiday shoppers to shop local during the holiday season.

Salem Chamber Gift Check Program
While we always encourage shopping local, sometimes you just can’t make it to Salem, or you don’t know what to gift to buy. We have a perfect solution: The Salem Chamber’s Gift Check Program! Gift Checks are available in denominations of $20 or $10, and can be ordered on-line or by calling the Salem Chamber (T. 978-744-0004).
The Salem Gift Certificate is redeemed like a check. A business receiving the gift certificate simply deposits the certificate like any other check. The money is in an account, maintained by the Chamber, and funded by the original purchase of the gift certificate. If a customer uses only a portion of the Salem Gift Certificate, the recipient can give back cash or a credit. Either way, businesses that receive the Salem Gift Certificate will get the full value of the check. For more information click here.
