Winter Lagers at Notch Brewing

One of Salem’s local breweries, Notch is serving up winter and Salem-themed lagers out of their Derby Street location. For seasonal dark lagers, try Tmavý, a Czech Dark Lager, or grab a liter of Czech Black Lager, Černé Pivo. Notch also has Salem-themed brews out this season, including Bavarian Helles, Salem Lager and German Afternoons, a German Pils featuring an illustration of Salem Willows on the label.

Bento Boxes & Ramen from Koto

A staple in Salem’s takeout scene, Koto is a local favorite for ramen soup, sushi, and Chinese and Japanese cuisine. This Washington Street spot recently added Bubble Tea to their menu, with a rewards program offering your 10th tea free!

Seasonal Lattes from Odd Meter Coffee

Odd Meter Coffee, Salem’s newest coffee shop just introduced a variety of seasonal lattes, including the shop’s current hit, the Cardamom seasonal latte. Another wintry favorite at their Washington Street location is the Spiced Iced, a blend of cold brew and milk of your choice, flavored with brown sugar, coconut, almond, cardamom, coriander, ginger and a hint of red pepper.

Looking for something sweet to snack on, too? Odd Meter has a pastry case with fresh baked good’s from Salem’s own A&J King. Stop by for a coffee or sweets like sticky buns, molasses cookies, and gingerbread muffins.

Family Dinners & Pre-Fixe Menu from Bella Verona

Bella Verona has special deals this season on family dinners and is offering a pre-fixe menu featuring an appetizer, entree, and dessert this winter. Their three-course menu ($32 per person) is available for dine-in (reservations strongly encouraged) or takeout, and includes items like stuffed eggplant, chicken parmesan, and more. Check their website ahead of your visit for weekly wine specials and takeout menus.

Turner’s Seafood Winter Entrees
