The Enchanted Broomstick of Salem creates unique, hosted social experiences designed to bring people together through conversation, creativity, and a little Salem magic.

Based in Salem, Massachusetts, The Enchanted Broomstick was created around a simple idea: some of the most memorable experiences happen when people put down their phones, step outside their usual routine, and genuinely connect with the people around them.

Our events are designed for both Salem locals and visitors looking for something different to do while experiencing the city. Rather than simply attending an attraction or watching a performance, guests become part of the experience through hosted activities, social games, conversation, and opportunities to meet new people in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Our signature **Enchanted Salem Social Experience** brings that concept to life through a three-hour hosted social event at Salem’s historic Hawthorne Hotel. Designed for adults 21 and older, the experience combines Salem-inspired creativity with structured opportunities for guests to socialize and have fun.

Guests can build and personalize their own enchanted broom to take home, participate in secret social missions, explore a curated collection of tabletop games, compete in a costume contest, and use match cards to identify people they’d like to stay connected with after the event. The experience also includes a free social hour, complimentary light appetizers, and access to a cash bar.

Unlike speed dating, The Enchanted Salem Social Experience is not exclusively a dating event. It’s designed for anyone who wants to meet people and enjoy a more interactive way of experiencing Salem. Guests may attend with friends, as couples, or on their own. Visitors traveling solo are especially welcome.

The Enchanted Broomstick also hosts **Daytime Speed Dating** events for local singles. These small, structured events provide an alternative to dating apps and traditional nightlife by giving participants the opportunity to have a series of relaxed, face-to-face conversations with other singles in their age group. Mutual matches are shared privately following the event.
