The Witchery recently brought back their crafting sessions! Bring mom downtown to try her hand at crafting spell books, brooms, and more.
Cheese, chocolate, & wine
The Cheese Shop of Salem is accepting online orders for wine, cheese, and gourmet specialty items. If you’re local to Salem and don’t find what you’re looking for on their website, contact them directly to see what they have in store. Local delivery is also available and the Cheese Shop of Salem also has wine and cheese subscriptions (with pickup available) that would make wonderful gifts.
Pamplemousse is another option to purchase a local wine club subscription as a gift, along with gourmet kitchen gifts, locally sourced produce, cheese, beer, cider, and more. Gift cards are also available to purchase online.
Chocolate is always a great choice for Mother’s Day gifts and Salem has no shortage of options to shop for something sweet. Harbor Sweets has been making chocolates out of Salem since 1973, and a wide variety of chocolates from gift boxes to specialty hot cocoa is available to order online. Harbor Sweets’ Mother’s Day collection wraps up some of our favorites (sweet sloops!) in floral printed boxes perfect to kick off spring.
Kakawa Chocolate House, Salem’s newest chocolate shop has assortment boxes available to order online or pick up from their shop on Essex Street. Order a box for Mother’s Day and sample truffles, caramels and more, or opt for one of Kakawa’s traditional chocolate elixirs in a mix you can make right from home.
If mom prefers savory over sweet, Popped! Gourmet Popcorn has nearly every flavor of popcorn imaginable in time for Mother’s Day. Find sweet and savory options, and opt to customize the packaging just for the occasion. Visit their website to shop and take advantage of their buy one get one free offer.
On Artists’ Row, Beverly Bees offers locally produced, award-winning honey along with lip balm, lotions and salves from their bees. Stop by the store while shopping downtown and watch them make candles right on site!
