The holiday season is back in Salem and the Witch City is celebrating better than ever. This year, there is truly an event to make everyone cheery and bright from Historic Salem’s “Christmas in Salem” tour that is a wonderful journey through some of Salem’s most historic homes all decked out for the holiday season, the “A Christmas Carol” trolley ride where you can ride along with Scrouge to experience the Christmas classic like you never have before and get cozy in front of the fire in one of the oldest houses in America, The Daniel’s House, to listen to stories about early Salem, Winter traditions and the festive season.
In addition to all the amazing holiday events that are happening this year, there are so many classic Salem museums and attractions that are waiting to be the perfect complement to your celebrations including the Peabody Essex Museum, the Salem Witch Museum, and The House of the Seven Gables. And of course, you can’t miss a self-guided hot chocolate crawl in between your adventures.
Don’t forget to check out the uniquely Salem stores to not only cross off everyone on your gift list but to get yourself a little something as well. Check out Modern Millie for gorgeous vintage-inspired holiday fashion, The Record Exchange for the autophile in your life, or Pamplemousse for the perfect bottle of wine for the person who already seems to have everything.
