With lots of trees, a dazzling view of the harbor, bike paths, picnic areas, two beaches, a playground, swimming pool, a baseball field, and even a concrete slide you can slide down with cardboard; Forest River Park is a great way to spend an afternoon.
The park is also home to Pioneer Village, a recreation of a 17th Century fishing village. Established in 1930, this is one of America’s first living history museums.
