Salem Harbor
About
One of the sites of the major international ports in the colonies, the Salem Harbor spans both north and south of Salem. During the late 18th and early 19th centuries, international trade was conducted in Salem from the Atlantic coast, importing ceramics, furniture, decorative arts, artificial flowers, spices, and dyes.
The harbor is known for its beautiful sunsets and views, which can be best seen on Pickering Wharf.
