Red’s Sandwich Shop
Located in the historic London Coffee House on Central Street, Red’s is a local’s favorite. Known for dishes like their more-than-plate-sized pancakes, omelettes, French Toast, grilled breakfast sandwiches, and more. They’re open for dine-in and takeout (order online or call ahead for takeout), and Red’s is a great place to stop for lunch too for its location while walking the Salem Heritage Trail.
Regatta Pub at the Salem Waterfront Hotel & Suites
Stay on the water by the shops along Pickering Wharf with an overnight at the Salem Waterfront Hotel & Suites and enjoy breakfast right downstairs in the Regatta Pub (or with room-service!) Looking to make Sunday brunch plans? Head over to Ledger Restaurant and Bar for a great selection of fresh brunch menu items and refreshing drinks. Try Mystery Mimosa which changes seasonally to highlight fresh ingredients and hand selected bubbly to go with it. Salem’s newest coffee shop, Odd Meter Coffee Co. has specialty coffees you can order alongside pastry bites from A&J King. In addition to freshly brewed coffees and teas, their seasonal latte specials and Spiced Iced are not to be missed.
Wolf Next Door Coffee
Wolf Next Door (owned by Diane and Lee Wolf of the Lobster Shanty) has an impressive coffee selection with cold brews, drip coffee and more, plus a full food menu offering breakfast sandwiches, muffins, and pastries and even soups if you’re stopping by for lunch.
Lulu’s Bakery and Pantry
Lulu’s Bakery and Pantry is one of Salem’s newer, and welcomed additions to the breakfast and bakery scene. They have a wonderful selection of breakfast sandwiches and pastries that are made in house. Each season the staff and owners over at Lulu’s take the time to rotate their offerings, paying attention the spices and fillings that are being used in their delicious creations. They also have a wonderful coffee bar and team of capable baristas that can fill your latte or tea craving in the morning.
