Looking for a holiday photo with a bit of flair? Head to Die With Your Boots On for a themed Santa photoshoot by Light Witch Photography. This unique twist on holiday portraits is open to ages 18+. First-come, first-served – come early and get a seasonal photo you’ll definitely remember.

🎄 Santa’s Arrival & Holiday Tree Lighting – November 28
Join Salem Main Streets and gather on Salem Common at 5:45 pm to welcome Santa as he arrives atop the Hawthorne Hotel, with a little help from the Salem Fire Department. Then join the festive lantern-lit procession to Lappin Park for carols and the annual Holiday Tree Lighting. Free and family-friendly – rain or shine!

💅 Holiday Witch Spa Day – November 29
Treat your little witch or wizard to some magical self-care at The Good Witch of Salem Spell Studio! Kids will mix their own holiday potion, make crystal wishes, and enjoy sparkly nails and enchanting touches. This cozy, hands-on workshop is open to all ages.

🛍 Small Business Saturday – November 29
Skip the big-box chaos and spend the day exploring Salem’s incredible indie shops, makers, and boutiques. More than 50 local businesses will be offering specials and festive surprises.

Spend the day brewery-hopping through Salem’s local beer scene with stops at Couch Dog Brewing CompanyFar From The TreeNotch Brewing, and East Regiment Beer Company. Grab a Brewery Passport at your first stop, collect stamps for each full pour, and once you’ve filled it – you’ll score a limited-edition Salem Brewery Crawl beer mug. Rally your crew and explore Salem one pint at a time!

🚎 “A Christmas Carol” Holiday Trolley – November 29 – December 23
All aboard! Experience a lively and whimsical retelling of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol while riding through Salem on the Holiday Trolley. This interactive production has been a beloved seasonal tradition for nearly four decades. Tours depart from Timeless Life Treasures – seats are limited and shows fill quickly, so be sure to reserve in advance!
